Surface Area is 100 cm long, so you can hold an end in each hand to reach across your back. Fold it into your palm for arms and legs. A small washcloth can still cleanse effectively; the main differences are reach, shape and texture.

Wet your skin and the towel. Add your usual body cleanser and work it into a lather. Use light strokes, rinse your skin and the towel thoroughly, then hang the towel fully open to dry.

No. More pressure is not necessarily better. Start gently and stop if your skin stings or becomes irritated. Avoid broken, sunburned or inflamed skin.

There is no one schedule for everyone. Begin less frequently and adjust to your skin’s response. Stronger exfoliation generally calls for more time between uses. You can cleanse without exfoliating on the other days.

Physical exfoliation may not suit sensitive skin. Retinoids, acids and other treatments can increase sensitivity. Ask a qualified skin professional if you are unsure, and do not combine aggressive exfoliation on the same area.

This is a body towel. Do not use it on the face, intimate areas, broken skin or areas that are irritated. Choose a gentler, purpose-made method for delicate areas.

We do not claim that it treats those conditions. If you have persistent bumps, inflammation or another skin concern, ask a qualified clinician about appropriate care rather than scrubbing the area harder.

No. Use a body cleanser you already tolerate. Wet the towel before adding it and rinse out the lather well afterwards.

Ocean Blue, Soft Black and Petal Pink are colour choices for the same towel format, not different exfoliation grades.

We recommend each person has their own towel. Different colours make them easy to tell apart. Choose use and pressure to suit the individual; children should not use an abrasive body-care tool unsupervised.

Rinse it thoroughly after each use to remove cleanser and residue. Follow the care label for washing. Do not assume a competitor’s machine-washing, bleaching or tumble-drying instructions apply to this towel.

Spread it open in a well-ventilated spot where water can drain and air can circulate. Do not leave it bunched up, sitting in water or sealed in a bag while damp.

That depends on use and care. Replace it if it develops tears, persistent odour or a texture that no longer feels suitable. We do not promise a fixed lifespan or that the towel will last forever.

We do not make an antibacterial or self-cleaning claim for this product. Rinsing, washing according to the care label and drying between uses still matter.

Yes. It folds down for packing. Let it dry before putting it in a travel bag, and unpack it promptly if it has had to travel damp.

Yes. Choose each towel’s colour in Bundle & save on the product page. In the cart, you can also choose a different colour for the paid towel and the free towel.

At AUD $29.95 per towel, three towels total $59.90 and five total $89.85. Add all included towels, including the free ones. Shopify applies the eligible automatic discount at checkout. The offers do not stack with each other; they apply once per order.

We dispatch Monday to Saturday. Orders before 1pm AWST are scheduled for the same day; after the cutoff, the next dispatch day. Sunday orders are scheduled for Monday. Public holidays or unusual delays may affect this.

The estimate is 4–9 business days after dispatch to destinations available at checkout. Customs, remote locations and carrier delays can take longer.

Eligible Australian orders get free standard shipping at a merchandise subtotal of AUD $65 or more after discounts. Other shipping charges are shown at checkout.

Use Track Your Order. Your shipping email also contains a tracking link. If tracking has not updated or a delivery seems wrong, email hello@surfacearea.com.au with your order number.

You have 30 days from delivery to try your purchase. Email hello@surfacearea.com.au within that time, including day 30, for a full refund under our returns policy. There is no restocking fee or return-shipping charge.

You do not need to return a towel you have opened and tried. If we need unopened items returned, we arrange a prepaid return and send instructions. Contact us first rather than posting anything yourself.

We process approved refunds to the original payment method. Your bank or payment provider controls when the funds appear, so we cannot promise an instant bank credit. Contact us if a confirmed refund has not appeared after 10 business days.

Contact us so we can put it right. Your statutory consumer rights are separate from our voluntary trial and are not limited to 30 days.
